About: In the Fleetway comics, when Sonic was younger, he was a brown hedgehog with many spikes on him. His friend, Dr. Ovi Kintobor (who later turned into Dr. Robotnik), gave him his sneakers and blue look. Sonic’s best friend is Tails. Sonic is known as the fastest thing alive.

Miles “Tails” Prower
Age: 8 (known be 11 in the Archie comics and 4 1/2 in the Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog)

Tails is a two-tailed fox who has the ability to fly by spinning them around like a propeller. In the original Sonic the Hedgehog Saturday morning TV show, Tails didn’t go on adventures with Sonic, Sally, Bunnie, etc… as he was too young. Tails is very smart and has an interest in machines. Sometimes he flys on his own made plane, the Tornado.  In Sonic Adventure 2, Tails is in his plane throughout the majority of the game. His name, Miles “Tails” Prower is a pun of the phrase “miles per hour”.

Knuckles the Echidna

Height: 3’7″
Weight: 88.2 lbs
Knuckles lives on Angel Island (or otherwise known as the Floating Island) as it’s his duty to guard the Master Emerald which keeps the island afloat. He rarely has the time for fun and tends to get angry a lot of times. Knuckles can be gulible at times. Eggman takes advantage of this, always ending up trouble for Knuckles. Back in the early 1990′s Knuckles was known to be a bad guy. Back in his first game, Sonic the Hedgehog 3 he worked with Dr.Robotnik to defeat Sonic. Now, Knuckles is mostly known to be good friends with Sonic and wants to defeat Dr.Eggman.

Amy Rose
Age: 12
Date of birth: 23rd September
Height: 2’11″
Amy Rose, is a cute pink girl who is in love with Sonic. Back in the 1990′s Amy’s appearance was much different from now. She was a lot sweeter, had spikes, a tshirt and a cute, green skirt and she wasn’t throwing her mallet around like mad like she does now. In the Fleetway comics she was known as Rosy the Rascle.

Rouge the Bat

About: Rouge is a treasure hunter whom wants to collect many gems, emeralds and other treasures. She has known to be a thief & to steal gems, however most recently in the Sonic X comic, issue 18, a fake Rouge stole a “very rare, expensive, priceless gem”. Sonic didn’t believe the real Rouge stole the gem, as she’s a government agent who has done many good things. Nowadays, Rouge has a good reputation and isn’t too known to be a “bad guy”, but that doesn’t mean she can’t have the cheeky lady within her!

Doctor Eggman
Age: Possibly 46
Date of birth: June 23rd
Debut: Sonic the Hedgehog (game)
About: Sonic’s evil enemy. Eggman hates “that hedgehog” and aims on destroying him. Eggman was originally known as Dr. Ivo Robotnik.
